Our Community
Founded in the 1970s within the Elkhorn neighborhood and encircled by majestic hills, The Ridge in Sun Valley consists of 100 beautifully designed condominiums and 15 spacious garages spread across 7 acres of common space property.
Located less than a mile from the iconic Sun Valley Resort Lodge – the creative haven of Ernest Hemingway – each unit enjoys access to exceptional amenities that make the most of our unique community, including two expansive pools, hot tubs, and well-maintained tennis and pickleball courts. The area is also renowned for its challenging 18-hole Elkhorn Golf Course, pedestrian-friendly pathways, and proximity to the learner-friendly Dollar Mountain ski hill of the Sun Valley Ski area.
Beyond the borders of our community, the Sawtooth Range (beyond Galena Summit) and the Boulder, Smokey, and Pioneer Mountain ranges in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area offer a high alpine backdrop as beautiful and inspiring as any in the U.S. It’s not uncommon to find wildlife such as elk, bobcats, foxes, coyotes, deer, and various birds visiting our natural landscapes, adding to the enchanting experience of living at The Ridge in Sun Valley.

Blaine County is steeped in history, dating back to 1879 when farmers first settled it. The 1880s brought a mining boom, transforming the landscape and population with the pursuit of gold, silver, and lead. The construction of the Sun Valley Resort in 1936 marked the beginning of a new era, turning the county into a world-famous recreation area known for its unmatched natural beauty and outdoor activities.
The introduction of the Elkhorn Resort in 1970 expanded our horizons to year-round recreational opportunities, setting the stage for what The Ridge would become – a community deeply embedded in the splendor and adventure of Sun Valley.
